Source IO Trade Delegation – Canton Fair 2026
Terms & Conditions

1. Nature of Services

Source IO provides structured trade delegation and sourcing support services in connection with the 2026 Canton Fair.

Services include:

• Pre-fair strategy consultation
• Supplier mapping and targeting
• On-ground trade facilitation
• Translation coordination
• Negotiation support
• Post-fair sourcing assistance

Source IO acts solely as a trade facilitator and advisor.

Source IO is not a travel agency, manufacturer, exporter, importer, logistics provider, or guarantor of supplier performance.

Participants retain full responsibility for all commercial decisions and agreements entered into with third-party suppliers.

2. Delegation Position & Commitment Fee

Delegation positions are limited.

A non-refundable commitment fee is required to secure a position in the Trade Delegation.

  • Base Delegation Commitment Fee: NZD $1,500

  • Premium Trade Partnership Commitment Fee: NZD $3,000

The commitment fee:

• Secures a limited delegation position
• Activates pre-fair preparation services
• Covers administrative and strategic planning costs

The commitment fee is strictly non-refundable.

3. Remaining Balance

The remaining balance must be paid no later than ten (10) days prior to the participant’s allocated delegation phase.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in forfeiture of the delegation position without refund of the commitment fee.

4. Travel & Accommodation Responsibility

Participants are solely responsible for:

• International flights
• Visas and entry documentation
• Travel insurance
• Accommodation
• Meals (unless otherwise agreed in writing)
• Personal expenses

Source IO accepts no liability for travel disruptions, visa issues, airline delays, accommodation problems, or governmental restrictions.

Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and business insurance.

5. Supplier Introductions & Commercial Risk

Source IO facilitates introductions to suppliers and provides advisory support.

However:

• Source IO does not guarantee supplier legitimacy, product quality, production timelines, pricing stability, or delivery outcomes.
• Participants are responsible for conducting their own due diligence.
• All commercial agreements are entered into directly between the participant and the supplier.

Source IO shall not be liable for manufacturing defects, delays, disputes, financial losses, or contractual breaches involving third-party suppliers.

6. Delegation Conduct

Participants agree to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully during all delegation activities.

Source IO reserves the right to remove any participant from delegation activities for inappropriate conduct without refund.

7. Force Majeure

Source IO shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Government restrictions
• Trade or border closures
• Political instability
• Natural disasters
• Pandemic-related disruptions
• Trade regulation changes

In such cases, services may be rescheduled or adapted where possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Source IO’s total liability in connection with the Trade Delegation shall not exceed the total amount paid by the participant for delegation services.

Source IO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or business losses.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

10. Acceptance

By paying the commitment fee, the participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
